Slow Cooker Meatballs

Spice up your favorite meatballs with this easy, saucy slow cooker BBQ meatball recipe. Form and cook meatballs using your protein of choice and then drop them in your slow cooker and let them absorb the rich, flavorful sauce. These work great on sub rolls or over rice.

Ingredients

1 ¹/2 cups (12 oz.) chili sauce
1 cup grape jelly or jam
2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
1 pound meatballs, cooked

Instructions

Combine chili sauce, grape jelly and mustard in slow cooker; stir well. Cover and cook on high while preparing meatballs.
Add cooked meatballs to sauce in slow cooker. Stir well to coat, cover and cook on Low for 6-10 hours or High for 4 hours. (Low is recommended.)

Frugal Romance

Sure, it is nice to go out and have a "date night" but you can have a great date night at home OR, if you really want to get out of the house, there are some things you can do and save money.

Fix a picnic lunch and go to a park, a river…..you'll spend quality time together.
